Weifang city aims to accelerate rural revitalization and expand innovative "three models" to create a model zone for rural rejuvenation in Shandong province. To implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Weifang Municipal Committee, the city proposes to select exemplary villages and enterprises practicing the "three models" across the city. This initiative focuses on showcasing the successful practices of "agricultural strength, rural beauty, and farmer prosperity." The selection process will involve setting scientific evaluation criteria and choosing approximately 50 exemplary villages and 1 to 2 exemplary enterprises from each county or district annually. Furthermore, Weifang plans to connect these exemplary villages and enterprises with historical and cultural sites along tourism routes, creating a unique blend of rural revitalization and cultural experiences. By integrating modern agricultural experiences and folk culture, this initiative aims to establish a new pattern of in-depth rural tourism. In addition, Weifang will provide unified planning for village industrial layouts, architectural styles, and necessary infrastructure, such as roads, water supply, sanitation, logistics, internet, homestays, and camping sites, to ensure comfortable living environments for visitors and serve as a model for modern rural development. Funding for this project will be sought from relevant provincial and national departments, with potential involvement of private capital.
